auld lang syne

The start of the year is always a time for me to look back at what happened to me the previous year. It is an opportunity to cherish the joy and happiness I felt about the good things that I was blessed with, to overcome the loneliness and sadness that came with the not so pleasant events that took place, and to take stock of the lessons learned from the mistakes I made.
And now, I just want to remember a few people who have become, in one way or another, a part of my life, but because of distance or some other reason, I know that things between us would never be like the way they used to be.

I may have forgotten to mention some, but just the same, I thank all of you. And if the day comes when our paths meet again, I hope we can return to the time when we decided to welcome each other into our lives.
