according to some articles, this movie is about math and the bond between a father and his daughter.

i don't really like math. and my dad and i don't really have what one can call a model or ideal father-daughter relationship (whatever or however one sees that to be). despite that, i loved this movie. it's one of those films that made me stay in the cinema until the closing credits were almost through. no, not because i wanted to know who the production people were, but because i just wanted to sit a while longer and "savor" the movie.

it may be about math and the father-daughter connection. but it's really how love, trust and sacrifice were depicted in the movie that made it so touching for me.

(the film's bonus of course is it gave me a preview of jake gyllenhaal...next movie on the list: Brokeback Mountain)
